Wanna know what bugs me in Maryville, TN? German Roaches. How long does it take to get rid of them? Most new customers ask this question and I’m the guy that tells you the ugly truth. I don’t know. I just don’t know. There is no way to know. That’s the truth. I’ve heard other “bug guys” say they only need 1 treatment. Sure, I’ve eliminated German roach infestations 100s of times in 1 hit. But that isn’t happening when they are in every nook and cranny of every room, so many they are piled on top of each other. It’s just not happening.
The truth is, how many treatments you will need depends on you. You see, we can kill German roaches by the thousands every time we come, but how fast they multiply has a huge amount to do with the food they have available. If you provide that for them, we come, kill 1000 roaches, you feed what’s left and they breed 500 new ones. You just reduced my kill count to 500 instead of 1000. We are moving in the right direction, just slower than it should be. That’s why cleaning your house and keeping food put up is huge in this process.
Make no mistake, we can get rid of German roaches if you do nothing, and I’ve done that100s of times too, but it took way longer than it should have and cost you a bunch more money. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ll do the service and take your money all day long, but I would rather eliminate your roaches faster and make you happy. And I got a dollar that says you would rather that too.
So when your PCO (pest control operator) tells you you need to clean up, he’s not being judgemental, he’s trying to help you get rid of the roaches and save you money. Because no matter how much we like ya, we don’t want to keep stopping by because you still have roaches.
